The maximum performance of a multi-junction solar cell is only possible if the composition, thickness and doping level of each of its many semiconductor layers are precisely adjusted. For fabrication of our solar cell structures, we use sophisticated metal-organic vapour phase epitaxy (MOVPE) process, which has been continuously developed since 1988 when MOVPE reactors first were installed at AZUR SPACE.


This exclusive process based on AZUR´s own know-how is now applied for cost effective deposition of high efficiency solar cell structures on 100 and 150 mm substrates.
